NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Trustees of Camden Township at the office of the Fiscal Officer for the purchase of a new NFPA 1906 compliant Brush Truck for the Camden Township Fire Dept. Such sealed bids will be accepted beginning October 30, 2019 and must be received by the Fiscal Officer by 4:00 pm November 18, 2019. Bids can be sent by US mail to Camden Township, P0 Box 172, Kipton, OH 44049 or delivered by a private delivery service or by appointment to the Camden Township office, 42 Court Street, Kipton, Ohio 44049 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. This project is funded by federal DHS grant moneys and must comply with federal bid requirements as specified in the Camden Township procurement policy. Such bids must also be in conformity with specifications. Specifications and procurement policy may be obtained at the Camden Township office during the same hours available for submitting bids. Two copies of each proposal must be included in the bid and must contain the name of every person or company interested therein and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Camden Township Fire Dept. brush truck bid". Bids will be opened and read publicly by the Camden Township Board of Trustees at the regular meeting on November 18, 2019 at 7:30pm at the Camden Township office, 42 Court St., Kipton, OH 44049. The award will be granted to the lowest and the best bidder. The Board of Trustees of Camden Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Camden Township to do so.
